Coldplay, Jay-Z join Haiti telethon

For Friday’s Hope for Haiti telethon, Bruce Springsteen, Jay-Z, Coldplay, Taylor Swift, Shakira, Rihanna, Bono and The Edge will take part in the event, it was reported Wednesday.

Meantime, Canadian celebrities will be announced Thursday at noon for a domestic TV special, airing on many Canadian channels on Friday before the telethon.

Good evening. We visited our local post office earlier and bought some of the new Coldplay stamps.Very nice they are too. Now, we thought it'd be nice to send one of you a letter using a Coldplay stamp, post-marked with today's issue date.(It won't be signed by the band or anything, just us.) Good morning - and happy new year! The End of Decade Clearout Saleof Coldplay memorabilia and instruments reached its conclusion yesterday evening amid some frantic last-minute bidding. We're very pleased to reveal that the final total raised by the auction is an amazing £251,482 (which is roughly €284k / $407k).
