COLDPLAY released the details of their fifth album yesterday - then hinted that it may be their last.
The cyptically named Mylo Xyloto will go on sale on October 24 with the next single, Paradise, out on September 12.
Frontman Chris Martin said the album, which has a sleeve covered in graffiti, could draw a line under the band's stellar career.
He told Billboard magazine: "I always feel like each record is our last, but at the moment I'm at the stage where I really mean it.
"I just can't imagine how we would do another one because we've thrown everything into this one.
"I feel proud of our band. We're just so grateful and very driven. How long that will last, I don't know."
For now they'll focus on Mylo Xyloto, which is released a week after Noel Gallagher's debut solo album. That should spark a decent chart battle.
Worringly, in a not posted on the Coldplay website, the band explained how to say the title. It read: "P.S. It is pronounces MY-lo XY-letoe."
They didn't have to do that with Parachutes.
